Uniform

It is our belief that children should be dressed appropriately for a day at school and that a school uniform:

  • Promotes a sense of pride in the school

  • Engenders a feeling of community and belonging

  • Is practical and smart

  • Identifies the children with the school

  • Is not distracting in class (as fashion clothes might be)

  • Makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance

Uniform items can be purchased from any retail outlet and do not need to have our school logo on.

ALL CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR SHOULD BE CLEARLY LABELLED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME.

Our uniform:

Royal blue sweatshirt with or without logo OR jumper / cardigan in royal blue.

White collared polo shirt with or without logo OR collared shirt in white.

Trousers (not jeans), or tailored shorts in grey, black or navy blue.

Pinafore dress or skirt in grey, black or navy blue

Summer dress in blue check.

Black shoes (not trainers).

 

For PE children will need:

PE shorts or leggings in black or navy

Plain T-Shirt in Royal blue, with or without logo.

Plain white, or dark colour trainers for outdoor PE lessons. 

Dark coloured tracksuits for outdoor PE in colder weather.

 

Jewellery and hair accessories:

Children are not permitted to wear watches, earrings or any other form of jewellery whilst taking part in PE activities.

A watch (not smart watch) is permitted at other times. 

One pair of stud earrings is permitted.

Hair accessories should be in school colours of blue, grey or black.
